More changes in the golf studio
In an effort to make your lessons and practice in the studio as useful and interactive as possible we have made a few more changes in the studio.
Last week we had a new projector installed and I am pleased to say the screen is brighter than ever!
Secondly we are in the process of having two large TV's installed on the right wall to make it easier to video the swing data captured and make the use of the K-Vest 7 (once it arrives) as easy as possible.

How does clubface position at the top of the swing change your swing plane and consistency?
In this article I thought I would explain how the position of the clubface at the top of the swing can have a dramatic effect on the plane of your swing.
Below are some screen shots of Charlie, one of my students. Charlie has been suffering from a steep, over the top swing leading to a lack of distance and a slice to the right. In order to help him cure this we decided to start by altering the position of his clubface at the top of the swing. As you will see in the picture on the right, the clubface is now more closed. Charlie achieved this by getting his left wrist in a flatter position.
Due to this change in clubface position, Charlie is now able to swing the club down on a much better plane leading to an increase in distance and consistency.
I am sure there are many of you out there who are reading this who suffer from a slice and an 'over the top' swing. 99% of the time changing the position of the clubface at the top will allow you to eliminate this problem.
