Gent's Christmas competition

Congratulations to Drew Sutton for winning the Gent's Christmas competition with a score of 23 points.

Winter league

Thanks to Nigel Featherstone and Pete Wood for challenging the captain and I last Sunday, we had a great game. We knew it was going to be a hard game when Pete rolled in a 40 footer for a 3 net 2 on the 4th.

We were two down with four to play and we managed to birdie the 15th for a half and birdie the 16th to get it back to one down. After halving the 17th in threes we knew we had our work cut out as both Nigel and Pete had shots on the last. Both the captain and I birdied but it was not enough as Nigel also made birdie.

League Table

Top team - Featherstone, Wood, Broughton, Yakub and Yakub now take the lead, with Hall, Burns, Ricketts, Ricketts and Broome one point behind.

The captain, Craig Aston and I and team Davies, Davies, Johnstone and Olsen are two points behind the leaders.
