How has Martin changed his swing?
Martin has been working hard to improve his game over the past few months, his main swing fault it that he gets the club shaft in a vertical position in the downswing, this leads to an 'out-to-in' club path and causes the ball to go straight left or slice.
As you can see in the 'before' picture, Martin had a tendency to over swing. This was caused by a lack of connection between his arms and body and not enough width in the backswing. These two faults make it extremely unlikely that he can get the club on plane in the downswing.
As you can see in the 'after' picture, his arms now have better connection to his body at the top of the swing and he is making a wider arc, allowing him to get the club more on plane in the downswing.
If you would like to change your swing like Martin, please click here to book a lesson. We offer an introductory 30 minute lesson for all new customers for £9.99.
