Many thanks to Paul Penney for organising the team, his combinations are clearly inspired. Well played team!

Captain’s Prize to the Ladies
A grey day was brightened considerably by the great humour of the Ladies playing for the Captain's Prize on Tuesday. Olwen Davies deservedly won the nearest the pin on the 6th, only a couple of feet from the pin. Pam Butler won the 9-hole Stableford that was played on the same day. In 3rd place was Sue Kendrick on a card play-off with 94-19=75. Second was the Lady President, Valerie Hornsby, with the best gross of the day, 90-19=71.
However, the overall winner was Helen Thomson with a 96-27=69. It was particularly impressive as Helen only received her first handicap earlier this year and is rapidly improving. Many congratulations to Helen. The Captain would like to thank all the Ladies who took part for making it a great day.
