Competition results

Progressive Stableford

Congratulations to Claire Roberts, Justine Jackson, Valerie Hornsby and Mo Monk for winning the Progressive Stableford with 82 points.

Hospital Trophy

The first round of the Hospital Trophy was played on Saturday 11th May in blustery conditions although scoring was still reasonable, particularly in the morning. Chris Brandon was the winner of the round with a nett 67 on countback from Mike Davies, Craig Aston and Mike Harding who also scored 67's - it was tight at the top of the leaderboard going into round two!

The second round was on Saturday 18th May with some excellent scoring in good dry conditions.
The round two winner with a superb score of nett 62 was Rick Ford from Andrew Boyle (65), Andrew Marshal (67) and Gary Johnstone (67).

The Hospital Trophy itself is played for over the aggregate of the two medal rounds. In first place with an excellent aggregate score of 134 was Gary Johnstone. This was on countback from Craig Aston who had the same score - shame we could not have two winners as both very worthy playing off low handicaps.

Third Place - Rick Ford (137)
Fourth Place - Andrew Boyle (138)
Fifth place - Olie Lane (139)

The Captain awarded the large Hospital Trophy to Gary who advised that he had been trying to win this one for a very long time!

Most overlooked club in the bag?
