Competition results

Vice President’s Challenge Bowl

The competition was played in extremely tough windy and wet conditions, especially if you caught the morning deluge.

This was reflected in the CSS which was 70.

Two players battled through better than the rest both scoring 69. Jerry Dixon triumphed amongst the Vice Presidents and Matt Spiller winning the Challenge Bowl trophy and the prize of an exclusive Tissot watch kindly donated by the Vice Presidents themselves.

PGA Professional Championship – Next week

In May I managed to get through regional qualifying for this event by shooting a five-under 67 at Delamere Forest. Next week I am going to the national finals at Hunstanton Golf Club. It is meant to be a great course and I am looking forward to testing myself against the best PGA Professionals in the country.

Dan and Sarah will be covering the shop all week and we are open as usual from 8am – 6pm
