We are all looking forward to the start of a new golf season, but the one downside to the return of the sun is the dastardly sight of thickening rough.
But it's here that the hybrid or utility club really earns its corn. Even the tangliest grass struggles to grab its sleek, rounded head, while its low-profile shape and weight distribution promote easy launch. From distance, the club can force the ball closer to the green than the short-iron alternative.
This is why we believe now is the ideal time to talk to us about the hybrids that should be in your bag - or even the ones that already are. Not only do we have some great options for you, all of which we personally endorse; we can also advise on aspects like lofts, custom-fit and how to blend hybrids with your existing irons.
Used properly, the hybrid can save you shots all summer. Get yours sorted now… and hit the ground running in 2014. Click here to visit my website and see some of the hybrids I have in my shop catalogue.

Congratulations to Helen Edwards and Jean Walker for winning the Ladies 4 Ball Better Ball Stableford with a score of 38 points.
It was great to see such a big field playing in the Gent's Aggregate Stableford on Saturday, hopefully we can keep this up for the rest of the season! Alan Wright and Micky Fleury came out on top with 65 points - well done to both of you!
