A wet start to the day saw 18 players go out for the first round of the Club Championship which is a 36-hole gross competition. Leaders after the first round were Tom Lawton =71, Harrison Peck = 73 and Mike Troup/Steve Ridal = 76.

Conditions improved for the second round with better scoring in evidence.

Harrison Peck carded a creditable 68 for his second round but nothing was to stop the eventual winner, Tom Lawton, who with 67 in the second round, turned in a 36-hole score of 138.

Results were: 

Tom Lawton 71 + 67 = 138 
Harrison Peck 73 + 68 = 141 
Logan Stanyer 77 + 72 =149 

First place in the nett competition went to Harrison Peck (nett 133) followed by Finlay Calder (nett 134) and Logan Stanyer (nett 137).

The Subsidairy Stableford held for other members was won by Steven Yakub (again!) with 39 points followed by Brian Boughey with 38 points and Mark Seymour/Steve Lomas with 37 points.

Congratulations to Alison Roberts for winning the ladies EWGA Medal with a net 74. Sandra Smith was second with a nett 76.
