In good playing conditions Andy Marshall was the winner of the closely contested Monthly Medal final with a nett score of 66 off a handicap of 12. 

2nd = Mike Fox (67), 
2nd = Billy Bennett (67), 
4th = Nigel Fetherstone (68) 
4th = Mike Troup (68) 

The winner of the subsidiary medal was Brian Jones with a nett 66 on countback from Matt Hodgson.

How has David Changed his Swing and Improved his Ball Striking? 

David has been working hard on his game over the past few months and has been seeing the benefits! As you can see in the picture on the left hand side, David had a tendency to release the club very early in the downswing, also known as "casting". This can cause the club to reach its lowest point too early causing heavy shots and thin shots. 

   

As you can see in the picture on the right David is now using his lower body more in the swing and is not casting the club. This has resulted in better ball striking, better ball compression and more distance!
